Filming ceases on new James Bond movie and Jim moves to another project .
Our Hollywood reporter Brian brings you this ground breaking news .
Good evening yes I able to confirm that Jim Neesdon former star of Ann of a Thousand Neesdons and a Lion in Needon will be moving to a new studio located in Brisbane and commencing work on a film with a working title of “Queensland 2006” .
Here he will be teaming up with his old buddy from Hewtel Productions , perhaps most notable for their “Inglewood Interview series” .
Although not many details are available and the studio is tight lipped I have slept with the office girl and can say that there will be some spectacular stunts with a four wheel drive vehicle which we believe will bury itself in a VW golf , twice.

Keen to establish the look and feel of a classic retro piece the creative team at Hewtel Productions have released this opening still.
The search for stunt doubles is on as many of Flemings Mini sequences are considered too hazardous for A list actors .

Breaking news flash.
New James Bond announced.
Due to the lack of cool shown by the previous embodiment of Ian Flemings 007 well know method actor Mr E will be filling the Bond shoes.
Brought directly from his VW test driving in Europe Mr E will be beginning immediately on the new bond flick Southern Men, their cars, bikes and Chicks very loosely based on the recently unearthed Fleming Novel.
Production is already underway at the Hewtel Production facility.
More as it unfolds .

CALOUNDRA PICS
VISITOR FROM CHCH NEW ZEALAND TAKES HOME RESTAURANT
Lawrie Hewitt (80 years + young), father of Christopher Lawrence Hewitt, last night force fed the local competition a dose of their own condiments when he downed 6 courses to easily take out the Trans-tasman International Buffet All-You-Can Eat Competition at Caloundra, Queensland.
Mr Hewitt Senior had to be evicted by restaurant staff when they saw their takings for the evening heading south with the several plates of yummy food enjoyed my Mr Hewitt. Australia's champion food gutser Jim Ertel was completely constipated by Mr Hewitt's display and complained...
"This is the second time that Lawrie Hewitt has disgraced me. The first was several years ago when I lost to his uncanny ability with a pool cue...but last night was not the icing on the cake. This slightly built visitor to our shores has unlimited capacity for anything cooked and even when I felt my belt and stomach strained he simply laughed and went back for triples."
Mr Hewitt finished strongly after failing the first 2 rounds of the cuppa tea making stretching exercises which resulted in very weak colouration and flavour...you know that when a tea bag floats on top that there's a wee bit too much milk in there laddie...
The competition winner can be seen on the right in the photo...note the large hat to hide the high capacity food reservoir.

MOVIE REVIEW: "PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN"
I didn't expect to like this movie but I found it very entertaining (zero sleeps). I think some adults will like it more that some kids. Bill Nighe is well cast, excellent. I'm not going to say much about the story or the ending. Go and see it. A bit of CGI stuff but it's not too distracting. Ratings as follows:
Dad: 9/10
Jamie (15): 7/10
Peter (12): 8/10

A candid interview with Producer Director Roman (Brian) Obalenshavich
Jimzlenz : Tell me Roman when did you start out in film ?
Roman : You can call me Mr Obalenshavich if you feel more comfortable, but to answer your question I got my inspiration many years back when I first met that legendary cameraman Bryan Neesdon when I was a stunt double working on the epic production “Goodbye forever” .
Jimzlenz : I don’t recall that movie
Roman : A seminal work , we became friends and we have worked collaboratively on many occasions since . You may have seen our most recent work “Queensland 2006, a short film by Bryan”.
Jimzlens: Can’t say I have, I must look it out in theatres
Roman : Yes you should it depicts the epic tail of two friends in a desperate attempt to escape the humdrum of urban existences and their tyrannical wives , confronting the might of the Australian outback and all it can throw at them. Without wanting to spoil it let me say there is an exemplary piece of stunt driving as a 4x4 buries itself in the engine-bay of a Golf GTI, I’ll leave it to your imagination as to who comes off better !!
Jimzlenz : Sounds riveting ! What else have you done recently ?
Roman : Well last year Bryan and I put together a documentary series on Alaska and Canada which given the close confines of the mobile film studio did prove a little testing at times . Never the less we did capture some priceless footage of Canadian wildlife in particular.
Jimzlenz : Well that’s all we have time for Roman but a big thank you for coming into the studio, I’m sure we will hear more of your works .
Roman : Cheers, thanks a lot .

MOVIE REVIEW - "SUPERMAN RETURNS"
Well he sure is a pretty Superman this time, especially as the Clark Kent part of his character.
This movie has all the usual characters including Lois Lane (hot) and Lex Luther (cool). Lots of action, pretty well done. Jamie (15) scored this movie an 8.5/10, Peter (12) 4/10, maybe a little too much relationship development for the the younger kids?, I scored it 7.5/10, only 1 sleep (early on).
Overall, go and see it. Not too violent, generally lots of fun. VERY long so maybe that is a consideration for kids under 10 - pack food!

Movie Review by Chris
MOVIE REVIEW : "CLICK"
Running time : hard to tell when you are sleeping
Ok so the movie premise is great , a remote control to replace all remotes , don’t we know the problem !
Our lets call him , hero , finds that the device controls everything , yes that’s right even the family dog .
However this is a learning remote and auto repeats past actions even if they are unwelcome eg skipping forward in time to avoid quarrels with the wife and since there are plenty life starts moving forward rather fast etc etc .
This is were the humour ends and believe me there is plenty in the first third of the film but from there on in the movie descends into the kind of trite predictable moralistic bollocks that seems to be creeping back into Hollywood .
I won’t bore you but lets just say this, near the end the hero dies, now if this were a film made by the Poms apart from having less good looking thin people the hero would stay dead and we would all leave the theatre deeply moved but oh no, our hero comes to life , its all been a dream , but wait has it ? Frankly who give rats ass , can I say rats ass ?
My Rating first 30minutes 7/10 , rest 2/10 , “ending” the Van Trapp family award for wholesomeness
Best moment, the avocado and camembert filled fillo with coffee I had at the theatre café before hand and leaving at the end to go and get myself a new camera bag.
Jims rating : 4 sleeps during movie .

MOVIE REVIEW: "CARS"
I went to this movie expecting it to be just another Pixar production but apart from a slightly lazy/boring bit in the middle of the story that earned a small sleep, it's pretty cool actually.
The voices and animation are superb. See it on a big screen. It's quite long but it is entertaining and it is different from all those other Pixar productions.
The car sounds are great! but that depends alot on your cinema's sound system...
7.5/10 for me and 8/10 from my 12-year old son, Peter

WHERE I LIVE SERIES PHOTOS
FOOTY - ALL BLACKS vs IRELAND
I thought the Ireland team played very well. They succeeded in bustling the AB's and contested the ball pretty well. Their scrums need work though.
AB's certainly played better in the second half but not to say the Irish team didn't look solid overall.
Murray Mexted quote of the night: "Well the All Blacks are out of jail now but they're still in jail..."
Looking forward to the Aust vs England game tonight. I'm picking England to win this one.

MOVIE REVIEW - "RV"
This movie stars Robin Williams and is in the style of the Chevy Chase "Vacation" movies.
I scored it 6.5/10, Bev scored it 8/10. It's only of those harmless funny movies. I was expecting it to be more predicable but there are genuine moments of gut busting humour especially if you can relate to the RV experience.
Would be really enhanced if you had a few drinks before going to see it...

PETER ERTEL - DRUMER - BEATS COMPETITION WITH SMALL STICKS!
Peter Ertel of Wondall Heights State School won 1st prize in the regional percussion instruments finals held at the Redlands Bay Cultural Centre today (2.30PM AEST, 2 June 2006).
Peter scored a massive 87% in a tense battle which saw all so-called drummers crushed by his rhythm and banging precision. It is understood that Phil Collins is now considering early retirement...
Go Pete and well done!
